Putting yourself into Words.

I ran across this guest post by Alexandra Franzen, on Oh My, Handmade!, called: The 4 Elements of your Personal Introduction - OR, How to Make Sense of your Life When you Have 15 Bajillion Different Passions.  The title hooked me immediately.  Who doesn't have a 'bajillion' ideas, passions, assignments, etc in the handmade biz going all the time, 24/7?

The four simple steps where fun and enlightening.  Besides, when done you will have a succinct, well thought out, personal statement that rocks!  Win, win in my books.  So head on over to Oh My, Handmade and try it out!  Come back and comment with yours here too!  It will be fun to make a personal statement collection, don't you think?

Here is what I came up with:

I'm an artist, mother, and dreamer.  I create magically bright and colorful children's art for babies, kids, and their fun loving families that want joy filled homes.  But really I am on mission to bring families closer together, with magical childhood memories, by providing a means to make their homes a haven of hope and love. What has brought you joy today?

Easy Peasy, Lemon Squeezy!

A bit of childhood joy:

  1. I am soooo glad you posted this! I agree, it is crazy hard to describe yourself and what you do succinctly. This was inspiring. I decided to give it a try!

    Here is mine:
I'm a creator and wanderer of dreams. I craft accessories for those who crave the opportunity to add whimsy, adventure, and romance to the ordinary moments of life. Really, I just want a chance to share in your story and have you share in mine. So, take my hand...where should we go first?

This gave me the perfect way to introduce myself on my etsy profile and blog! Thank you again for a great post! I may use your blog and the one you sited for a version of this on my own by blog since it was so helpful.
